Prayer Audio Controller is operated by Traderlens OÜ, Paavli tn 5a/1, Tallinn, Estonia. This policy explains what data is used to run the Chrome extension, website, account, trial, and billing.

Data we use

• Email address - used for sign-in, trial access, support, and billing identity.
• Account and entitlement records - stored in Supabase to know whether your trial, annual plan, or lifetime access is active.
• Payment records - handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer, checkout, payment, and subscription identifiers, not full card details.
• GPS coordinates - requested in the extension to calculate prayer times. Coordinates are stored in Chrome storage and used for local calculation.
• Extension settings - calculation method, mute duration, offset, enabled prayers, and mute state.

Location and prayer times

Prayer times are calculated in the extension using local coordinates and the bundled adhan.js library. We do not sell location data and do not use it for advertising.

During first-run setup, coordinates may be sent once to BigDataCloud to get a readable city or district name for display. If that request fails, the extension falls back to a local city database.

Payments

Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, refunds, and billing portal sessions. Stripe may collect card, billing, fraud-prevention, and tax-related data under its own privacy policy. Prayer Audio Controller receives status updates from Stripe webhooks so access can be granted or removed correctly.

What the extension does not access

• Microphone or camera
• Tab page content
• Cookies
• Browsing history
• System audio outside Chrome tabs

Chrome permissions

• Geolocation - calculates prayer times for your location.
• Tabs - detects audible tabs and changes their muted state. The extension does not read page content.
• Notifications - shows mute and restore notifications.
• Storage - stores settings, session, and entitlement status.
• Alarms - schedules mute and restore events.

Processors

We use Supabase for authentication/database, Stripe for payment processing, Cloudflare for hosting, Google Workspace for email after the domain is configured, and BigDataCloud for optional reverse geocoding.

Retention

Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution reasons. You can ask us to delete account data unless we are legally required to keep it.
